La genesi del cult generazionale che ha animato le menti di tanti cinefili. La visione distaccata di un regista che ha scelto la via del cinema per illustrare la modernità. COMMENTO: Trainspotting, candidato all'Oscar per la migliore sceneggiatura non originale, è un film degli anni Novanta ma che tratta, comunque, un argomento sempre attuale.
Il tema è quello della droga, in particolare l'eroina, guardata da un punto di vista nuovo, diverso ed inusuale. Tale visione delle cose fece scandalo all'epoca: se, difatti, alcuni critici andarono in visibilio. Perchè per esprimere un giudizio negativo su un cult si devono sovente affilare le armi e strillare più forte degli altri; ma io vorrei archiviare con pudore il film più noto di Danny Boyle, regista che apprezzo molto, limitandomi a fare qualche osservazione personale. Il sito sul campo del cinema con tutte le anteprime, le recensioni ed i trailers, il mercato home video in VHS e quello in continuo sviluppo del DVD, con un occhio anche alle più interessanti proposte televisive.
