A rushed, spliced-together comedy horror about the pandemic is as bad as it sounds, but its silliness could make it a fitting antidote. Part irreverent satire, part gonzo Italian zombie movie remix, all Full Moon mania, CORONA ZOMBIES takes aim at the madness surrounding the crazy times we're all living in and delivers the funniest - and most controversial - exploitation movie of the year.
It remains to be seen whether Corona Zombies will be a success. Just because the entire world is dealing with the coronavirus doesn't mean everybody will flock to a low-budget, quickie horror film even if it is the first movie to deal directly with the pandemic. For some, this may just be an exercise in bad.
